If you require any assistance regarding sizing, material or colour prior to ordering we will be only too happy help. Alternatively, in order to assist you further with your purchase, each of our product pages contain a sizing chart for the relevant designer. Our sizing charts are extremely precise, so please ensure you measure yourself accurately.
The price you pay for goods are displayed clearly on our website. We regularly check the website to ensure that our pricing is correct, however, in the unlikely instance that our prices are displayed incorrectly, you will be given the opportunity to either cancel your order or go ahead at the new and correct price.
Please ensure that you provide your full name, address, daytime contact number and e-mail address in order to assist us in processing you order. If you require your goods within a certain time-frame, please ensure that you include this information in the order comments box to assist us in ascertaining whether your order is achievable. If this information is not included, it will be assumed you can wait for goods, and out of stock items will be automatically placed on order with the relevant manufacturer.
Please check your order summary details to ensure the items placed on order and the billing/delivery addresses are correct. Should there be any errors then please contact us immediately by either email or phone so that we can amend your order details accordingly. To assist us in tracking your order, please ensure that you include your name, address and order number within emails. Once your order has been amended, a revised sales order will be generated and a copy emailed to you as confirmation. Please note that we will not be held responsible for customer errors that are not notified to us ahead of order dispatch. We would also like to point out that customer orders generated and emailed at time of order placement can not be modified by any members of staff at any level, they are a snapshot created by the system at time of order placement, so any errors included are down to customer error.
Whilst we do offer the facility of an alternative shipping address, this service is at our discretion, and subject to satisfactory security checks having been performed by Protx, our payment solution provider.
Online and telephone payments are accepted via credit or debit card. Card types processed by ourselves are Visa, MasterCard, Maestro, Delta, Solo, Electron, Switch and American Express. We can also accept Paypal payment, but the provision of this service is upon request only, and authorisation at our discretion.
All items remain the property of Sweethearts & Tarts until paid in full.
Payment, unless you have paid by Paypal, is never taken from your card until your order is packed for dispatch. Our company payment narrative will appear on your bank or credit card statement as SWEETHEARTS.
All transactions/payments are in pounds sterling (£) and will show up on your credit card statement in your local currency. All credit card issuers will calculate the currency rate based on the existing currency rate at the time of your transaction.
Please note: we are a UK Store and our prices are in Pounds Sterling. Sweethearts & Tarts are not, nor will they be held responsible for any error on the part of the customer should they fail to read these details correctly.
Debit and credit card payments are processed entirely using the Protx VSP secure online payment system via their 128-bit SSL (secure sockets layer) encrypted server, meaning no card details are ever stored on our servers, nor do we have access to your card details at any time. Protx has achieved the highest level on compliance under the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI), and adhere to the most stringent levels of fraud screening, ensuring that customer details remain secure throughout the ensure transaction process. You can be completely secure in the knowledge that nothing you pass to the Protx servers can be examined, used or modified by any third parties attempting to gain access to sensitive information. Protx are a division of Sage UK Limited, and are audited by an independent company Trustwave to ensure that they are up-to-date with the latest encryption and security standards and that they comply with the stringent standards set out by the card schemes. A binding contract is formed between you and Sweethearts & Tarts as soon as you receive confirmation from us either by e-mail, or in writing, that your order is being processed. Sweethearts and Tarts reserve the right to refuse the supply of goods at our discretion and paid monies shall be refunded in full.
Whilst you are free to cancel your order any time up until dispatch, our standard returns policy applies to all cancellations received after order dispatch. Orders for non-stock items bought in especially at customers request can not be cancelled, this does not however affect your statutory rights with regards to our standard returns policies laid out above.

All personal details are held on a secure database solely for the purpose of fulfilling orders. Customer details will not under any circumstance be passed on to third parties.
If any provision of these terms and conditions shall be unlawful, void or for any reason unenforceable then that provision shall be excluded and shall not affect the validity and enforceability of the remaining terms and conditions.
This contract is subject to the law of England and Wales. All disputes arising out of this contract shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales. Those who access the site from other locations are responsible for compliance with their local laws and taxes as applicable. Any disputes not resolved by normal complaints procedure will be resolved exclusively in the courts of England and Wales under English Law.
